Echoes of Decimation is the third full-length album by Kansas technical death metal band Origin, released on March 15, 2005 through Relapse Records. The lineup was Paul Ryan on guitars/vocals, Clint Appelhanz on guitars/vocals, Mike Flores on bass, James King on drums, and James Lee on vocals/lyrics.

The album was recorded and mixed in November 2004 at Black Lodge Recording Studio in Eudora, Kansas, with production/engineering credited to Robert Rebeck and Clint Appelhanz; mastering was handled by Alan Douches. Its sound is compressed, hyper-fast technical death metal built around short song lengths, dense blasting, abrupt stop-start riffing, high-speed bass articulation, and tightly edited guitar patterns rather than atmospheric or groove-based structures.

The Entombment of Chaos is the fourth full-length by Los Angeles death metal band Skeletal Remains, released September 11, 2020 through Century Media Records. The album lineup was Chris Monroy on guitars and vocals, Mike De La O on guitars, Noah Young on bass, and session drummer Charlie Koryn, with Simon Duson guesting on the Disincarnate cover “Stench of Paradise Burning.”

The recording credits list Chris Monroy for guitars, bass, and vocals, Charlie Koryn for drum recording, and Dan Swanö for mixing and mastering at Unisound; artwork was by Dan Seagrave. Sonically, the album is direct old-school death metal with dense tremolo picking, tight double-kick phrasing, abrupt tempo shifts, and a modern, compressed mix that keeps the rhythm guitars thick while preserving lead-guitar clarity and fast drum articulation.

Through Caverns Unknown is a five-track EP by Shrouded Infinity, a United States death metal band listed by Metal Archives as based in Louisville, Kentucky. The CD edition was released on June 24, 2022 by Transylvanian Recordings; the artist Bandcamp lists an earlier March 31, 2022 digital release, while the Transylvanian Recordings Bandcamp page lists April 1, 2022.

The credited lineup is Cole Crutchfield on all instruments, vocals, songwriting, and recording, with Zack Hay on vocals. Production credits list Hunter Young and Brandan Lopez for mixing, Brandan Lopez for mastering, and John Reimer for logo and artwork. BandcampSumerian mythology; technically, the sound is low-tuned, cavernous death/doom with slow-to-mid-paced riffing, submerged growls, dense reverb, and an emphasis on atmosphere over speed.
