Winds of Creation is the debut full-length by Polish technical death metal band Decapitated, released on 17 April 2000 by Wicked World Records, an imprint of Earache Records. The lineup was Wojciech “Sauron” Wąsowicz on vocals, Wacław “Vogg” Kiełtyka on guitars, Marcin “Martin” Rygiel on bass and Witold “Vitek” Kiełtyka on drums.

Recorded and mixed in April 1999 at Selani Studio in Olsztyn, the album was produced by Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek, engineered by Andy Bomba and mastered by Bartłomiej Kuźniak at Studio 333. Its sound combines tightly synchronized tremolo and palm-muted riffing, abrupt rhythmic transitions, rapid double-bass and blast-beat passages, dissonant chord movement and short groove-based sections. The arrangements are technically dense but retain clearly repeated riffs and defined song structures rather than relying on continuous instrumental display.
