Slaughterhouse (October 2006, Kill Again Records) is the debut full-length from Brazilian thrash/death act Eternal Devastation — a four-piece operating within the dense, palm-muted, high-tempo thrash tradition rooted in Brazil's late-'80s extreme metal infrastructure. Lyrically divided between alcohol-as-religion inversion and anticlerical violence, the record's production prioritizes loud, dry guitars at the expense of bass presence, and its drumming, while functional at full speed, loses precision in breakdown passages. Critical documentation is minimal, with a single indexed Metal Archives review at 50% and a Spirit of Metal score of 15/20. The album received a limited 1,000-copy reissue in 2015 and a further reissue in 2016, both on Kill Again Records — modest signals of sustained regional demand.
